My Little Summertime Boo-Berry

When you have a kid you find yourself using all sorts of meaningless (or meaningful, I'm not sure which) nicknames for him/her. Josh was always fond of funny nicknames for the dog, so it is no suprise that he comes up with some amusing names for our little boy. I find that I consistently call him "boo" or "boo-berry"... I'm embarrassed to even admit that! Talk about Silly!!
Anyway, we are enjoying the summer VERY much, despite the consistent rainy weather. When the sun does come out, we rush to the park and sit in the grass and play. He loves the sprinklers, wading pools and fountains they have set up for kids. I also put him outside with me in the yard when I weed the garden or plant flowers. He just likes to watch the people walk by, follow the dog's antics and feel the breeze on his face. Last weekend we went up to the lake and he got to swim with us. He really enjoyed splashing around. I will post some photos of that weekend soon. But for now, here's a photo of him just being cute!
