Beach Boy(s)

We just returned from a family vacation to the beach. It was wonderful. The perfect combination of sun, sand, family and R&R. We stayed a block from the beach on the Jersey shore and went to the beach daily. We walked around town, saw some family (aunt, uncle, cousins and mother-in-law), we ate great food (cooked and went out) and we enjoyed watching Aidan play in the sand and surf. He loved the sand. I had heard about babies not liking the sand/ocean so I was a bit apprehensive, but he loved how it felt between his toes and in his hands. He didn't eat too much of it either! We liked to crawl around in the small surf and went straight for the ocean many times. He would knock down the sand castles we built for him and pick up sea shells.
It was a great trip and I look forward to many more vacations with my boys.
