Sunny Summer Afternoons...

There is nothing like a perfect summer afternoon spent lounging about in the sun, listening to the cicadas and laughing with your family. We had a perfect day today, we were on our way to Walden Pond, but the parking lot was full so we kept going and ended up at the DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park (http://www.decordova.org/). We enjoyed our picnic under the great white pines and then walked around looking at all the interesting sculpture. There is nothing like being around really cool art to make you feel very uncreative... the things people come up with is amazing. We went into the museum and saw some really interesting collections as well. There was one mechanical exhibit that Aidan found fascinating, every so often it would make a tweet tweet noise like a bird, he was staring at it for a long time. Very cute.
